Jasba 214-30: a rare orange Cortina and a polychrome marvel
This exceptional shape, 214-30, is documented in a 1960 catalogue add (see illustration, on the top shelf), here in two rare decors: one in the typical 'cracked' glaze known as 'Cortina' , a glaze design of 1956, originally in white. It was named after the Italian place where the Olympic winter games were held that year, viz. Cortina d'Ampezzo. Another vase is decorated in a crazy, multi-colour striped pattern, with the original silver foil label "Jasba Keramik. Form + Farbe". Absolutely amazing pieces!
