Scheurich and Greulich (S&G)

Three items of the earliest production of German ceramics giant Scheurich: the black "S&G" label on the candlestick holders refers to Scheurich's predecessor "Scheurich and Greulich". This particular version of the label is rare – it is the earliest known label of the brand, used between 1948 and 1950 (only attested in gold or silver foil label with black letters, and with a bigger 'hook' on the letter K than on the labels that came into use in the later years of the 1950s).
