Scheurich Foreign 248-38, decor Bambus (and little labelled 226)

This mid-century modern vase is one of the jewels of my collection. Everything about this item is perfect: its shape – an early number 248 –, its size – a solid 38 cm –, and its glaze – decor 'Bambus', already attested on items with the black label of Scheurich's predecessor "Scheurich and Greulich (S&G)" (the black label was in use between 1948-1953, a red version between 1954-1968).
